I havent updated this in a while, but kristin wanted me to so here i am. my year has been pretty eventfull. in no particular order, i made world juniors in jamaica(so there to that shit that dissed me earlier), signed on a scholarship to iowa state, and met the girl of my dreams. im in iowa right now. ames, iowa to be exact. i just ran a race last friday, finished second on the team, and ran a time that will probably qualify me for worlds if i run it at nationals in december. well, thats the major stuff, if theres anything else you wanna know hit me back,

*sniffle* My running coach drowned on Saturday. He was at the lake, he dove in,and when he came back up, he wasnt breathing. First my uncle called, and said he had heard on the radio someone with the samelast name had died in lake of the woods, and I was like, "shit, thats where he is" So I called his cell, and his wife answered. She asked who was speaking, and I said my name. She then asked her daughter if I was one of his athletes. Then the daughter started speaking to me. She told me he had drowned the day before. I just went into shock. As soon as I got off the phone with her, I started balling non-stop. I went out last night, to try and clear my head, and it sorta worked. But I have to go workout now, so Ill stop annoying you guys, :(

I just realized something very shitty...if I dont start running well, Im gonna be stuck at the U of M next year :s. I realize thats not that bad, but when you compare it to, say, Stanford, Harvard, or even like, Michigan, it doesnt even come close. I wanna go down south, bcuz then Ill get to train with better, older guys, and Ill get faster. If I stay here, then Ill probably win CIAU's within my first two years. It wouldnt even be close..:s
Plus, in Canada, they dont give full scholarships, and there isnt an outdoor track season, bcuz school ends so early(which is good I guess). But yeah. Sure, U of M would be fun, getting to hang with all my running buds and stuff, but its always been my dream to get a scholarship to the states. Oh well, thats about all my ranting for today,

Well, I just got home from Calgary. My race didnt go as well as Id hoped. I finished fourth :( . Sure, all the guys were at least a year older, some two, and Ive been injured. But I was still hoping to at least medal. At about 2km in, I just hit the wall... oh well.. I just figured out how to change my live journal thing. Thanks Natasha. :)

I got my Playstation to work :). The movie last night kicked some serious ass. Im never letting anyone do acupuncture on me tho... It was sweet. Jet Li kicked some serious ass. Well, I leave tomorrow for Calgary, hopefully Ill come back national jr champion :).

SWEEEEEEETTTTT!!!!! Scot Gurney, the coach of the Canada Games team, just called and said I made Canada Games for both of my events!!!! I wasnt sure if I was gonna make it or not..but I did. I didnt run trials due to injury, but whatever..Im soo happy..IM GONNA BE ON FRICKEN TSN BABY!!!YEAHHH!!!!

shitty deal y'all....i think ive been cut from the canada summer games team...stupid injury..if i would have run my race hurt, i could have still won and made the team..but noooo...doctor tells me i cant run a race for a few weeks...bastard...oh well, Im going to selkirk for a physical tomorrow, so Ill get to see Deni again.

I had to wake up at 530 this morning, to dirve my dad to fricken Lorette. Im pretty fricken tired right now, as you can imagine. When Jack, Peak and myself were at the beach, I picked up this hot chick. One problem...she has a boyfriend..lol. So, the other day she was telling me that pretty much everyone is mad at her for talking to me. I was like, "well, I could not call anymore if thats what youre implying." hehe Her response: "Theres no way in hell im letting you go" :) So I was talking to her more recently. I was like,"Is everyone still mad at you?" And she was like, "No, just some friends.." So, naturally, my reaction was like, "shit...." but she said "naw..no worries..see, my friends, they all thought about it for a while, and now theyre mad that I still have the stupid boyfriend."

Today was pretty sweet!! The scene thing went pretty well, I won athlete of the year(how the shit did I pull that one off???) Got 17/20 on my band test. Oh, and I found my brothers trumpets at the transit station downtown(after searching for about 14 hours). :)

School is so incredibly gay. I get 100% on my physics test, I could tech both my computer and math classes better than the teachers, and then I have history with the cisster..'nuff said. The guy is a fricken monkey..his class consists of doing immitations of nates and dancing like a fricken monkey. Other than that, lifes been treating me pretty well..so I wont bitch...check y'all later :)
